Overview
The International School OWL offers a German Baccalaureate which is equivalent to a high school diploma or the British “International Advanced Level”. International students obtain the baccalaureate within three years (6 semesters) thus getting a subject-related university entrance. German Baccalaureate is designed for international students (age 16-18) who want to enter top universities worldwide such as TU Berlin & Universität Heidelberg in Germany, Oxford and Cambridge in the UK, Yale, MIT, Columbia in the US, universities of Australia, New Zealand, Netherlands, Ireland, Norway, Spain, China, Japan, India and many more. The International School Paderborn offers an international, college-preparatory curriculum. In addition there are both English and German courses. The cooperation with the Konfucius Institute Paderborn offers optional Mandarin lessons for beginners and native Mandarin speakers.
Entry requirements
The entry requirements for German Baccalaureate are straight forward and easy to meet. A certain English language level is required since all the courses are being taught in English, except the German language course.
Entry requirements are the following:
· IELTS 4.5
· Age between ~16 - 18
· Junior high school graduation (after 9th grade)
