Program overview

This course also develops your knowledge of sustainability issues and how they affect the organisation of community events. We place a particular focus on the development of entrepreneurship, which is vital for the promotion and success of professional, sporting, cultural and community events. To build practical experience, you'll have the chance to plan, deliver and evaluate student-led events on and off campus, and work with our industry partners throughout your degree. Nine elective subjects allow you to complete a second major in a business discipline such as marketing, sport management or international business, a language, an international student exchange, or any other eight-subject major offered at the University. Alternatively, you could complete one or two four-subject minors such as social media or marketing, or a selection of individual elective subjects, including an international study tour or intern subjects. Our unique industry Professors of Practice work within this course to improve course curriculum, student learning experience, and engage with industry and business.
