Program overview
Learn about yourself as you prepare to teach the next generation of eager students.
Our students study for a 4-year undergraduate degree and during the course of their program will take several education courses, attend a half-dozen or so workshops, as well as complete a variety of placements. These placements could include schools and organizations such as Frontier College, YMCA, Better Beginnings Better Futures, Best Start Hubs as well as Learning Disabilities Association of Sudbury. The five years of the concurrent education provides students with an opportunity to experience a wide variety of educational settings. The range of experiences enables the student to make an informed judgment about whether teaching is a profession they truly wish to pursue. Those students who choose to opt out of the program can still complete their four-year degree.
