Overview
The MacDuffie School is a private, coeducational preparatory school for day and boarding students in grades 6–12. The MacDuffie School provides a quality co-ed private school education to local and international students who are bright, talented, and interested in attending college or university. The MacDuffie School provides the environment and curriculum for students to improve their language skills, explore leadership opportunities, and successfully build the academic and professional skills necessary for success. International students may choose to live on campus or to live with a local family as a homestay student. At the end of the school day, our students participate in the Co-Curricular Activities Program (CAP), which includes athletics and a variety of special offerings such as Model United Nations, chess, cooking, and dancing. On the weekend, students are offered recreational as well as educational activities. In addition, boarders take several longer trips to such places as Washington, D.Cc, Vermont, and Boston. Homestay students learn about American culture by living with a local family and participating in activities with their hosts.
