Program overview
Energy technology and systems are currently undergoing a rapid transition. The demand for renewable energy generation and storage, and the use of sophisticated information technology for monitoring and management, has never been greater. This rapidly evolving environment presents unique opportunities for highly skilled electrical engineers, as it is they who will facilitate the transition of society to more sustainable energy systems.
This stream will provide you with the unique combination of skills you’ll need to design and operate future electrical energy systems within the context of existing electric power systems. Career opportunities include existing electricity distribution and supply companies, industries providing small- to medium-scale electricity supply and management systems, and the emerging transport electrification industry.
