Overview
MITT provides innovative pathways to quality high school, post-secondary education, and apprenticeship training in partnership with industry and the communities we serve. MITT is dedicated to ensuring that graduates can successfully transition to employment or further education.
Under the Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology Act, MITT's mandate is:
-To provide high school and post-secondary education and training activities in the fields of technology, vocational training and adult education.
-To assist individuals in finding and keeping employment.
-To respond to Manitoba's labour market needs.
Entry requirements
Basic entry requirements:
-Certificate of secondary education / bachelor's degree for postgraduate and master's programs.
-High level of English: IELTS - 6.0-6.5, TOEFL 80.
-Other requirements may vary depending on the programs: motivation letter, letters of recommendation, interviews, results of mathematical tests, etc.
Duolingo English Test (DET):
- Minimum score of 105 for category A programs
- Minimum score of 115 for category B programs
