The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) — Accounting provides the necessary academic and practical foundation to launch and advance your career in this growing field. You gain the knowledge to pursue professional accreditation as a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), as well as the foundation upon which to continue your studies to a Master of Business Administration (MBA) or other relevant graduate-level education. Emphasizing the process of management and administration, the program centres on the practical application of business theory and concepts. It will prepare you to work in many different areas, including oil and gas, health care, retail services, manufacturing, agriculture, not-for-profit and government. With the expanding global economy, changing tax regulations and new financial reporting standards accountants are in high demand. There is such a need for accounting expertise that many students receive job offers before they graduate, from a wide variety of organizations in a number of industries.

High School applicants must present five Grade 12 level courses for admission. Included in these five courses, applicants must present the required subjects for their intended program of choice. The specific courses required for your program count towards your Group A courses. The additional subject(s) which may be presented for admission include the following courses from Group A, B, or C.
