Overview
Northumbria is top ten in the UK for the number of graduates entering professional employment and nine out of ten of its graduates are working or studying six months after graduation. It is ranked 21st out of 111 universities in the 2014 Times Higher Education Student Satisfaction Survey.
Northumbria works with major employers, including Nike, IBM, Nissan, Proctor & Gamble, the BBC, and the NHS, while more than 560 employers and 60 professional bodies sponsor or accredit the University’s programmes.
Entry requirements
International Foundation Programme: Certificate of Secondary Education with grade of Average of 4
1st Year Undergraduate: Certificate of Secondary Education and an acceptable grade from a recognised Foundation programme. Average of 4 in Certificate of Secondary Education and all Bs in Foundation Programme
OR
First year of Bachelor degree/ Bachelor with minimum GPA 3/Satisfactory
Postgraduate Programmes : 5 year University Diploma or New-style 4 year Bachelor Degree.
Grade: Average of 3.8 for courses requiring a UK 2:2 equivalent
Average of 4.2 for courses requiring a UK 2:1 equivalent
