The MPhil Globalization, Economics and Law focuses on themes of high economic and social relevance. It is secured by a qualified faculty, formed and developed within the extant academic and scientific paradigms. It is a consistent and innovative MPhil by its multidisciplinary character. It is taught in conjunction with the University of Maribor (Slovenia) and benefits from the research carried out in the IJP Portucalense Institute for Legar Research, through its group "Capital, Labour, Tax and Trade".
This program can be done
Graduates in Law, Economics, Management, International Relations and Political Science, or legal equivalent; holders of academic degrees obtained in a 1st cycle of studies in Law, Economics, Management, International Relations and Political Science, organized according to the principles of the Bologna Process by adherent State; holders of a foreign degree that is recognized as meeting the objectives of the Bachelor's degree by the statutorily competent body; holders of academic, scientific or professional curriculum vitae that is recognized by the statutorily competent body. Candidates are ranked following the criteria defined in the Regulation of the course, taking into account the academic education, professional development, publications, communications, research and participation in research projects.
Graduates will be able: To understand and critically analyze, evaluate and synthesize ideas and innovative and complex reasoning and conceive and design research projects in the realm of globalization. To take place in international and multicultural professional contexts, reaching high standards of performance.
