The University offers 76 bachelor’s degree programs in 47 disciplines, three associate degrees, and six certificates at the undergraduate level; 28 master's programs in 23 disciplines and six doctoral programs at the graduate level; and 13 post-baccalaureate certificates and one post-master's certificate. A Division I member of the NCAA and Big South Conference, Radford University competes in 16 men’s and women’s varsity athletics. With over 300 clubs and organizations, Radford University offers many opportunities for student engagement, leadership development and community service. In addition to robust academic offerings and engaging student experiences on the main campus located in Radford, Virginia, Radford University also offers a clinical-based educational experience for more than 1,100 students living and learning in Roanoke, Virginia as part of Radford University Carilion, a public-private partnership focused on the cutting-edge delivery of health sciences programming, outreach and service.
Entry requirements
Proof of English Proficiency
If you are transferring from a US institution, attended a high school that teaches in English, or if you have attended an institution in our list of waiver countries, you will not need to submit proof of English proficiency requirement.
All other students are required to submit proof of English proficiency in one of the following ways:
- Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)
- Internet-based score: 68 or higher
- Computer-based score: 190 or higher
- Paper-based score: 520 or higher
- International English Language Testing System (IELTS)
- Overall band score of 5.5 or higher
- Writing band score of 5.0 or higher
Submit Official Transcripts
Submit official transcripts for all secondary schools and any university/college(s) that you have attended. All transcripts must be in English.
