In the business computing sector, you will need to manage data in a variety of different ways. You will learn how to use data mining tools against a data warehouse to discover new knowledge, using SAP ERP to manage core business functions and AWS to then develop your applications and deploy to the internet. Through the expert teaching in our MSc, you will study the fundamentals of IT as a support tool within business. You’ll cover such aspects as systems analysis and design, cloud-based services, database technology, big data, data science, knowledge discovery etc.

An undergraduate honours degree (grade 2.2 or above) from a UK University or the international equivalent. If you do not meet the above but have significant appropriate experience, your application will be considered, provided that you satisfy the University that you are capable of responding to the challenge of postgraduate work. If your first language is not English, you will need to demonstrate that you are fluent enough to cope with the course. A minimum score of IELTS 6 or TOEFL 550 (213 computer-based) is normally required.
