Program overview
The Legal Practice Course prepares students for the next stage of vocational training, the training contract. Many students go on to secure training contracts locally and further afield.The LLM routes combine the taught elements of the Legal Practice Course with a tutor guided research project, giving you a full Master if Law degree in Legal Practice.
It is delivered in different ways to meet the needs of students.

Exams:
A Qualifying Law Degree as defined by the SRA (Solicitors Regulatory Authority).
For students studying the LLM top up you must have a post graduate diploma in Legal Practice.
Career opportunities
The university has longstanding links with both national and local practices which enable it to advise you on a range of options. You may start your LPC with a training contract. Students also find that the skills and experience gained during the LPC enables them to work more effectively as paralegals until the start of their training contract.
