Program overview
All Egyptology students have the chance to interact directly with artefacts in the Egypt Centre. A work placement module, known as the Ancient Egyptian Collection Practicum, is available as part of your degree.
There is a burgeoning volunteering programme operating via the Egypt Centre, whereby you can serve as a gallery or educational assistant, and train to become an educational leader. We strongly encourage you to support the museum’s mission by getting involved in the collection’s preservation, educating students via the schools programme, and widening participation.
