Students find an integrated industrial year highly beneficial, both to their university education and subsequent employability. This course offers you the chance to complete a placement year in industry, which would normally be completed after the first three years of the Aerospace Engineering degree, although some students work in industry following their second year.

The MEng Aerospace Engineering provides students with a preparation for professional careers in the aerospace industry (design, development, testing and operation of vehicles and systems), as well as in other areas, such as research, technical development and finance. The enhanced management focus on this course is particularly suitable for careers in project management and management in general in the engineering industry. The course is fully accredited by RAeS and the IMechE and provides graduates with the all the required academic qualifications for those interested in achieving Chartered Engineering status.
