The programme is rigorous and intensive. Students are expected to develop their capacity to work independently and in groups. Students come to the programme from a wide range of disciplinary and cultural backgrounds. This diverse group is linked by a shared interest in developing their theoretical and research competence in close relationship with practices located at the boundary between conflict resolution and governance.

The number of available places is limited to 30 students per year. If more qualified students apply than there are places available, candidates with the most convincing academic standing are selected.
