Overview
The University of Dundee is a research-focused public university in Scotland. The University of Dundee claims a broad spectrum of specialized strengths. In the latest edition of the QS World University Rankings by Subject, it’s listed as a world leader in the fields of biological sciences, pharmacy and pharmacology, medicine, education and training, and English language and literature.
The university’s main campus is in the vibrant West End of the coastal city of Dundee. Scotland’s fourth largest city also lays claim to being its sunniest, and in 2014 it became the first UK city to be named a UNESCO City of Design.

Entry requirements
All courses at the University of Dundee are taught in English. If your first language is not English you must typically have an IELTS score of at least 6.5 overall (or equivalent) with a 6.0 in Writing and Speaking and a minimum of 5.5 in the other two components in order to be successful in your academic studies. Additionally, if you require a visa to study in the UK, then you must also meet the level of English required by UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI).
