Program overview
"The Associate of Science degree at UFV is a four-semester program that allows you to take the science courses that interest you. For example, you can take first and second year courses in disciplines such as:
Biology
Geography
Chemistry
Physics
Computing science
Mathematics and statistics
Most of the UFV science courses offer a lab component that compliments the lecture component, so that you can practice common lab and experimental procedures that are useful in today's industries.
UFV's small class sizes make it easier to get help from your professors, allowing you to excel in your courses.
After you graduate, you are able to think critically and are aptly prepared to branch directly into a job field or continue your studies in the Bachelor of Science."
