Overview
UNIC provides a helping hand to international students, whose current grades do not meet the University’s degree entry requirement, or have a qualification that is not recognised within the university.
UNIC helps by offering an academic springboard to the University of Northampton, providing Foundation, First Year and Pre-Masters programmes across a wide range of subjects.
2 semester foundation courses allow students to progress seamlessly into a Bachelor's Degree, whilst single semester Pre-masters prepares students for Masters.
Entry requirements
Academic:
For Foundation: Completed secondary education with GPA of 2.0 (4.0 scale)
For First Year: Completed secondary education with GPA of 2.5 (4.0 scale)
For Postgraduate: Completion of a Bachelor's degree
Occupational Therapy, Podiatry and Mental Health/Adult/Children & Young People's Nursing entry criteria: Completed secondary education with GPA of 2.5 (4.0 scale) including Maths and a Science subject
English requirements vary depending on the study course:
IELTS 5.5 - 6.0
TOEFL iBT 46 - 60
Scholarship & funding
Merit-based scholarships are available for students progressing from UNIC to the University of Northampton.
