Upon successful completion of the Graduate Certificate in Applied Finance, you may enrol in a Master of Applied Finance and be eligible for credit for the four subjects completed within the Graduate Certificate of Professional Accounting. Progression with credit to other Masters programs, including the MBA, may also be possible. We value the importance of prior learning and work experience in this course and understand that not all mature age working professionals have completed an undergraduate degree. If you fit this profile, still apply for the course, as we will assess your other relevant tertiary qualifications or substantial relevant professional or managerial experience.

A recognised Bachelor degree or a tertiary academic qualification with duration of at least 3 years’ full-time equivalent. Applicants with 5 years’ full-time equivalent managerial/professional work experience in Finance will also be considered. Applications with other relevant tertiary qualifications and/or substantial relevant professional or managerial experience will be referred to the Faculty for consideration. You must be able to demonstrate skills in English to satisfy course entry requirements. UOW accepts results in major international English tests, including IELTS, TOEFL, Pearsons, Cambridge, and OET. Previous study in English may also be accepted.
