Program overview
This combined degree recognises the increasing demand for scientific knowledge about how to conserve and protect wildlife, as well as develop deeper understanding of the interactions between people and animals.
Career opportunities exist in a range of areas including zoological research, environmental management and consulting, wildlife biology, government quarantine, agriculture, museums, and universities, as well as, international opportunities.
On-campus animal facilities include those for reptiles, small marsupials, small rodents, horses, sheep and cattle, as well as over 1,000 hectares of native, rural and aquatic habitats.
