BC Secondary School graduation (Grade 12) or equivalent; or Mature Student status. SLEP (Secondary Level English Proficiency) test for EAP students (post-secondary level required). English Language Requirements: TOEFL: 83 (internet-based score), 220 (computer-based score), 560 (paper-based score). IELTS: (band score of 6.5, with no band less than 5.0); CanTest (listening 4.5, reading 4.5, writing 4.0); CAEL: 70. Person Test of English: a minimum score of 56. ELA: 145. Applicants are required to attend an information meeting or make an appointment with a faculty member or program convenor.

Capilano gives first consideration to internal candidates, defined as staff covered under the MoveUP collective agreement, with the appropriate seniority as per Article 25.07(b).
