The Cardiff School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences is now celebrating 100 years of excellence in teaching and research. It is based in its own Redwood Building, named after the first professor of pharmacy in the UK. Our MPharm programme is accredited by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and draws on the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) subject benchmark for pharmacy. Aside from being taught by an academic team who carry out cutting-edge, world-leading, research, you’ll also get to learn from expert practitioners based in community, hospital, primary care and industrial settings who’ll give you a thorough understanding of the profession of Pharmacy. In order to prepare you to deliver multidisciplinary healthcare, you’ll learn with students from other medical and healthcare disciplines through our innovative interprofessional education sessions. You’ll be given the opportunity to hone your interpersonal and communication skills which are essential for many Pharmacy related careers. Not only will you have support from your own Personal Tutor, you’ll also be able to get additional advice and support from a Student Mentor within the School to help you adapt to University life. You’ll be welcomed by our active student society that arranges social, sporting and other events and you’ll be given the chance to provide feedback through our dedicated Undergraduate Student Staff Panel.

You will be required to have a high school certificate with grades of at least 4.0/5.0 in addition to a recognised one year International Foundation Programme to qualify for our undergraduate courses.
