This programme provides an optional specialization of study in one of the two areas of Business Intelligence or Technology and Entrepreneurship. The programme aims to present at postgraduate level of the theories, methods, support techniques and skills required for efficient and effective management of the information systems function in the business, commercial, industrial and public sectors. Upon successful completion of this Programme, students should be able to: Recognize and elicit of the scope and responsibilities of IS management and of its relationship to the wider IS-user and general management community Explore and assess the socio-technical issues of information systems management Design plans, control mechanisms, and architecture for IS projects for enhanced productivity and quality Demonstrate communication and teamwork skills, and the ability to work within a code of professional ethics and conduct

Applicants must: hold a recognized Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from one of the tertiary education institutions in Hong Kong funded by the University Grant Committee (UGC), or equivalent. Applicants who hold a Bachelor's degree and have relevant work experience will be given preference. Applicants whose entrance qualification is obtained from an institution where the medium of instruction is not English should also fulfill the minimum English proficiency requirement.
