Program research will focus on biomedical optics and sensors, with applications in oncology, orthopedics, ophthalmology, dermatology, and other areas of medicine. Students will learn critical thinking, problem-solving, communication and management skills, and develop an understanding of the increasing importance of leadership and ethics in the engineering field.
