Students will demonstrate understanding of their professional role and professional ethics in all clinical and educational settings. Students will demonstrate functional musical leadership skills using conducting techniques, movement, percussion, piano, guitar, and voice. Students will demonstrate knowledge of: The philosophical, psychological, physiological, and sociological bases of music as therapy and how those bases inform the development and use of music therapy methods, techniques, and materials in clinical settings.

High school completion (requirements are country-specific) TOEFL iBT of 70 or above or IELTS of 6.0 Students are admitted to the Music Therapy program by completing the formal application and audition process accompanied by an interview with the department faculty.
