Stage 2 of the Diploma of Computing & IT Studies is exactly the same course content as the one year Diploma of Computing & IT, and is also the same content as is taught in first year at university. There are eight core courses all students must complete. Core courses: 1. Information Technology Fundamentals; 2. Design Thinking and Digital Innovation; 3. Problem Solving and Programming; 4. Network Fundamentals; 5. Programming Fundamentals; 6. Database Fundamentals; 7. IT Project Management; 8. Systems Analysis.

Australian year 11 or equivalent, IELTS 5.5, no band less than 5.0. For all countries: Pre-requisite Subjects for Diploma of Engineering: Year 12 Mathematics (including Specialist Mathematics or equivalent) and Physics (or one science subject depending on the University program requirements. Pre-requisite subject for Diploma of Computing & IT: Year 12 Maths. Students who have failed pre requisite subjects will be required to undertake: Foundation Studies program (Engineering stream); Stage 1 Diploma program with 50% jump condition (Diploma of Computing & IT stream).
