The overall aims of the programme are to: Produce graduates who will uphold the legal, ethical and professional standards expected of a cybersecurity and networks specialist. Enable students to acquire a range of practical, professional and transferable skills to equip them to contribute to their chosen profession in cybersecurity or computer networks, or to pursue further studies. Enable students to engage with current research issues to consolidate their knowledge base and understanding of currently available technologies and emerging trends in cybersecurity and computer networks. Develop students’ cognitive and critical reflection skills to equip them for enterprise, employment and further academic research. Provide an industry and commercially relevant web production education for students from a variety of subject backgrounds and/or employment experience utilising appropriate modes of study.

All applicants must be age 17 and above and must obtain one of the following requirements: Year 1 Entry International Foundation Diploma in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Art - Technology from MDIS At least two GCE 'A' Levels Relevant foundation diploma qualifications awarded by other Private Education Institutions (PEIs) (equivalent to pathway programme) with an entry requirement of 10 years of formal education Year 2 Entry MDIS Higher Diploma in Information Technology MDIS Higher Diploma in Ethical Hacking and Forensic Investigations Countermeasures Relevant diploma level qualifications awarded by other Private Education Institutions (PEIs) (equivalent to 1st year EDP) with an entry requirement of 12 years of formal education Year 3 Entry Relevant local/overseas polytechnic diplomas with an entry requirement of 10 years of formal education Higher National Diploma level qualifications in Information Technology related disciplines Relevant PEIs qualifications (equivalent to 1st and 2nd year EDP) with entry requirement of 12 years of formal education. English Language Requirements The applicant is required to achieve one of the following: C6 in English at GCE 'O' Levels IELTS 6.0 (with no elements lower than 5.5) Pass grade for MDIS Professional Certificate in English at Advanced Level Pass the MDIS Placement Test at Advanced Level
