Program overview
Students will study general psychology at an advanced level and specialise in their choice of, educational and child psychology, counselling and clinical psychology or health psychology.

Requirements
Applicants must be of age 19 and above and meet at least one of the following requirements:
A minimum of a 2:2 undergraduate degree in Psychology OR
An honours degree in another relevant discipline (but that includes at least 120 credits of study in Psychology)
English Language Requirements
Applications are required to possess one of the following :
Students whose first language is not English are normally required to have minimum IELTS Result of 6.5 with each sub-band not lower than 5.5 or equivalent OR
Letter from College/University clearly stating the Medium of Instruction of the highest qualification to be English
Career opportunities
On successful completion of this programme, you should be equipped with the skills and knowledge, and in the case of the extended course, substantive professional experience, to enter employment in the health services, public health organisations, local and central government, academia or as assistant psychologists.
The programme aims to not only develops a comprehensive understanding of psychological theory and research, but also transferrable skills, such as IT, group work, communication, report writing, numeracy and presentation skills. As such, many of our graduates have been able to pursue careers in areas other than psychology, such as nursing and teaching.
