Increasingly there is a call for primary teachers with specialist expertise who can support schools to improve children's learning in science and mathematics through the use of engaging and creative learning and teaching techniques. A choice of 24 science majors and minors, spanning physics to plant sciences, biochemistry to geographical science, and psychology to mathematics, will provide you with a rich repertoire of study options. Taken together with your education studies, you can look forward to a highly rewarding career with two teaching specialisations. You can also pursue a career in a wide range of professions that draw on your studies in science and in education, perhaps developing engaging programs for children visiting science centres or museums, or developing and publishing resources that engage the community with science. The options are broad and the choice is yours.
