Program overview

Studying at Australia’s only campus-based farm, you’ll gain hands-on experience in soil science, crop science and pasture science. As part of your studies, you’ll have the chance to get hands-on experience across a total of eight weeks of industry placements in farms and agriculture research programs across WA. To expand your skills and career prospects, you can create a double major with Crop and Pasture Science and Animal Science. This will make you an adaptable and innovative agricultural scientist ready for a variety of careers in the agricultural industries. You’ll address increasing global concern around food security and develop a deep understanding of how to feed a growing population, exploring new and emerging technologies and how to add value to existing production.
