The MSc Mechanical Engineering is accredited by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) for the purpose of meeting the educational requirements of Chartered Engineer (CEng). Much of the teaching and learning in the Programme take place in the CAE facility or Design Suite which have the latest commercial Computer Aided Engineering tools (e.g. Solid works, Fluent, Ansys). Engineering Laboratories and workshops allow physical models to be made and tested to validate computational models and include stress measurement and fluid dynamics and rapid prototyping.Good learning resources – such as up-to-date texts and publications are available in the library and many electronically.

You can apply for a 1 year masters programme with an undergraduate degree from a recognised Russian University. You should have at least an average of 4 out of 5 overall or above from a Russian university. The specific requirement will vary depending on the course you are applying for at Aston and the Russian university from which you have graduated. If you are applying for finance, engineering, science or social science based subjects; you must have studied a similar field in your undergraduate degree.
