State-of-the-art facilities
- High-tech labs, studios, classrooms, and facilities;
- Four campuses across Metro Vancouver, including Richmond, Langley, Cloverdale, and Surrey with a fifth campus, KPU Civic Plaza, opening in Surrey in early 2018;
- New Wilson School of Design building opening at KPU Richmond in early 2018;
- Fitness centres and workout spaces on each campus with a variety of sport and recreational activities for all students including fitness classes, personal training, and intramural leagues;

Entry requirements
- High School: A graduate of a BC secondary school or an equivalent school system. (Note: Proof of June graduation must be received in order to be eligible for Fall admission. High school students graduating in August are eligible for Spring admission. High school students graduating in January are eligible for Summer admission.)
- Transfer: An applicant who has successfully completed 24 or more undergraduate credits with a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or greater. (Note: college/university transcripts from all institutions attended are required to be considered in this applicant category, regardless of whether you intend to transfer your credits to KPU.)
- Mature: An applicant who will be 19 years of age or older on the first day of classes who is not a secondary school graduate. (Note: high school records/transcripts showing highest level of completion are required to be considered in this applicant category.)
- Aboriginal: An Aboriginal applicant who wishes to be considered for admission by the Aboriginal Admissions Committee on an individual basis. (Note: a supplemental aboriginal applicant package is required to be considered in this applicant category.)
Scholarship & funding
MAJOR ENTRANCE SCHOLARSHIP CRITERIA
THE PRESIDENT'S SCHOLARSHIP - $20,000
Eligibility
a) enrolling at KPU in a four year program
b) 80% average in English 12 and 3 other academic Grade 12 courses, or the equivalent of a 3.67 transfer GPA on a minimum of 24 transferable university credits
c) demonstrated leadership, community involvement and volunteerism
Conditions
a) registration in a minimum of 12 undergraduate credits per semester
b) required to maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.0 for the duration of the award period
Value & Quantity
Fall Semester Intake: 4 awards; $5000 per year for up to four years
Spring Semester Intake: 2 awards; $5000 per year for up to four years (September deadline)
THE MERIT SCHOLARSHIP - $5,000
Eligibility
a) enrolling in any KPU program
b) 80% average in English 12 and 3 other academic Grade 12 courses, or the equivalent of a 3.67 transfer GPA on a minimum of 24 transferable university credits
c) demonstrated leadership, community involvement and volunteerism
