Foundation Year: Successful completion of ATTESTAT/Certificate of Secondary Education with a GPA of 3.5
International Year One: Successful completion of ATTESTAT with GPA of 3.5 + successful completion of 1 further year of study
Pre-masters: Recognised first degree or a Bachelors Degree
Scholarship & funding
Funding your undergraduate or postgraduate study
There are scholarships available of up to £5,000 when you successfully complete your programme at LJMU International Study Centre and progress to study at LJMU. This is financial support available for undergraduate and postgraduate international students at LJMU, once you have achieved the required grades at the International Study Centre.
Essential criteria To be eligible, you must:
- Achieve the required progression grades at LJMU International Study Centre
- Be a self-funded, unsponsored international student
- Have no other scholarships
- Have an offer of study before applying for scholarship funding
- Meet the conditions in your university offer
- Have not already studied an undergraduate or postgraduate degree
- Have the funds to cover the remaining living costs, travel and any other costs associated with studying at the University.
How to apply
As a student at LJMU International Study Centre, you do not have to make an application for a scholarship. It will be automatically awarded when you have progressed to the University.
Scholarship for undergraduate study
£2,000 partial fee scholarship for the first year of undergraduate study. A further £1,000 partial tuition fee scholarship for each additional year at LJMU.
Scholarship for postgraduate study
£2,000 partial tuition fee scholarship for your postgraduate study.
