Suitable for people with a New Zealand qualification in planning or urban planning, the MUrbPlan is a research-based programme in which you can investigate issues in the design, technology, history, equity and diversity, policy or practice of planning.

Requirements

Exams:

    An undergraduate degree in urban planning or planning. IELTS: minimum score of 6.5, with no subscore less than 6.0 or TOEFL: a minimum score of 575 or Internet-based (IBT) TOEFL: a score of 90 (with minimum score of 21 in Writing) or Pearson Test of English (Academic): an overall score of 58 with no score less than 50

    Career opportunities

    An MUrbPlan will prepare you for a research career. You may choose to pursue doctoral study or academia, or contribute as a specialist in research reports, planning consultation processes and developments.
