Program overview

In this varied and fascinating programme, students will experience a range of completely different settings and draw on all the theoretical knowledge they have acquired in a wide range of different disciplines to successfully tackle a series of challenging projects. Students will soon discover the immense value of examining a problem from different perspectives and experience the fulfilment of producing a solution. The programme also develops your awareness of how society can gain the greatest benefit from the solutions you devise.

Students from outside the Netherlands should have a pre-university secondary education comparable to the Dutch VWO diploma, with as equivalent Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry subjects. The Dutch VWO diploma includes English and therefore from prospective students an English equivalent is expected. As the programme is taught entirely in English, a high level of English proficiency (CEFR, B2/C1 level; minimum IELTS score of 6.0, or equivalent) is also required. If the deficiency in Physics or Chemistry is small an admission on individual basis can be considered.
