Study a Master of Nursing at UC and you will:
apply the knowledge necessary to plan, deliver and evaluate high-quality, safe and evidence-based nursing care at an advanced level in your selected area of practice
produce a scholarly research piece for publication in a peer-reviewed journal
critically appraise research related to the changing identity and professional profiles of registered nurses as autonomous practitioners and key members of collaborative, multidisciplinary health teams in contemporary and culturally diverse health contexts
explore the function and responsibilities of registered nurses practising at an advanced level.

Admission Requirements
Applicants need to meet all three criteria:
A) hold a Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent pre-registration Bachelor level nursing degree
B) be registered, or be eligible to register, as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA), or equivalent overseas nursing regulatory body
C) be employed, as a Registered Nurse, in a relevant health setting*
*The health setting must be relevant to the nursing stream chosen.
Admission to this course is competitive. Applications will be assessed on the basis of academic merit and the number of available places.
Assumed Knowledge
Capacity to produce high-quality scholarly papers in the English language.
English Language Requirements: Academic IELTS of 6.5 or equivalent, with no band score below 6.0
