Entry requirements

To study a programme at the University of Huddersfield International Study Centre, you will need to meet certain conditions, called entry requirements.

These requirements consist of:

English language – this is the required Academic IELTS for UKVI score (or equivalent) that shows language proficiency

Academic qualifications – these requirements are shown by country

Minimum age – this is how old you need to be at the start of the course

Nationality – all our programmes are available to international and EU students

The admission requirements for international students vary per course at the University of Huddersfield International Study Centre. 

Scholarship & funding

Scholarships of up to £4,000 are available for students studying a pathway programme at the International Study Centre. These scholarships are awarded to students based on merit and are subject to availability. For more information, please contact your local representative.

Once you progress to the University of Huddersfield, the University then award scholarships of £2,000 each academic year to international students progressing from the International Study Centre. These scholarships apply to every year of your degree programme in the UK, except for placement years.

Student life

You won’t be short of activities to do at Huddersfield. There are over 100 clubs and societies on campus to choose from, including everything from salsa dancing and drama club to American Football and Wing Chun Kung Fu. If there’s something you’d like to do that doesn’t currently exist, feel free to start a society or club yourself.
