In addition, mastery of a second language has become an invaluable—many would say essential—arrow in the quiver of the modern university graduate. This is especially true in the Canadian workforce, a major G8 member and an officially bilingual nation. French as a second language is the second-most frequently taught second language in the world after English, and the only language other than English spoken on five continents; Offers a comprehensive program of study in language, literature, linguistics, English-French translation and culture of the French-speaking world; All courses are taught in French; Includes the option to spend third year studying in France. You may also spend one or two semesters studying at the Université du Québec à Montréal.
