This program is housed in the School of Literature and Languages, a highly-ranked academic school which is international both in composition and in outlook. Becoming a teacher of English as a second or foreign language gives you the chance to make meaningful connections across cultures and communities and open up valuable opportunities for others. Program has combined practical, its intercultural and applied approach to language teaching with its expertise in linguistics to create a masters course that can help you realise your full potential.

A minimum of a 2:1 UK honours degree in English, Languages, or any subject where you've completed a degree in a different language to your native language, or a recognised equivalent international qualification. Candidates may be invited for interview, either in person or by Skype. For postgraduate taught courses, a Specialist Diploma and Baklavar will all be considered as suitable qualifications for entry depending on grades and subjects studied. To apply for one of postgraduate courses that require a UK 2:1, you must achieve a GPA of 4.1 our of 5.0.
