Program overview

All LLB degrees have Qualifying Law Degree (QLD) status denoting that Bangor LLB graduates will have completed the academic stage of training for the legal professions in England and Wales. As all Bangor LLB degrees have QLD status, graduates may enter directly onto Legal Practice Courses (LPC) to become solicitors or Bar Vocational Courses (BVC) to become barristers. Bangor LLB degree holders are eligible to take the Law Society of Ireland entrance exams: FE-Is. The degrees address the British, European and global dimensions of contemporary legal development. The degrees allow you to specialise as well as to cover a broader range of options. Welsh students may undertake tutorials and workshops in Welsh in all Law modules where these are offered as part of the curriculum.
