Study a Master Laws at UC and you will: demonstrate an ability to define and develop a legal research topic in depth, support a sustained argument and follow a legal style guide have the option of undertaking a Masters of Laws Dissertation, where you will be able to articulate an understanding of the historical dissemination of the law state a thesis and build and support a sustained argument throughout a significant piece of legal scholarship hone your degree via selection from a range of elective units in areas of particular interest to your learning.

Admission Requirements In addition to the normal University requirements for admission to a graduate course, applicants must also have completed the academic requirements of an undergraduate degree in Law and will normally have achieved a Grade Point Average of 5.0 or higher. Additional Admission Requirements Note: Credit of up to 12 credit points may be granted on the basis of an incomplete or complete postgraduate course in accordance with the UC Credit Procedures. English Language Requirements: There are non-standard English language requirements for this course. To be eligible you must have an Overall Academic IELTS score of 6.5 with no band score less than 6.0.
